SenTix® 980 is een IDS-pH-elektrode met een glazen schacht, vloeibaar elektrolyt (3 mol/l KCl) en een platinumdiafragma voor algemene laboratorium-pH-meting. Een geïntegreerde temperatuursensor registreert de monstertemperatuur samen met de pH. De elektrode is QSC-geschikt, bewaart tot tien kalibraties in het geheugen en draagt een opgeslagen serienummer voor duidelijke identificatie en documentatie. Een vaste kabel van 1.5 m met digitale stekker verbindt rechtstreeks met MultiLine®- en inoLab® IDS-instrumenten en biedt een gebruiksklare digitale verbinding zonder extra adapters. Geleverd als één eenheid van fabrikant WTW – a Xylem brand is de sensor bedoeld voor waterige monsters in routinematig analytisch en onderzoekswerk. Het nettogewicht is ongeveer 0.27 kg.
