Smart-Vue™ 868 MHz wireless temperature module with external sensor is an uncalibrated laboratory monitoring module for continuous wireless surveillance of critical cold-storage equipment. Intended for the European 868 MHz band, it combines a digital sensor with an external temperature probe on a 3,5 m cable and operates across -40 °C to +80 °C. The unit is supplied not calibrated and is recommended for refrigerators with two to three doors, cold rooms and -40 °C freezers. Contents comprise the radio module with external sensor, a 3,6 V lithium battery, mounting holder with Velcro, magnet and hardware, sensor mounting kit, flat extension cable and a customer reference letter. From manufacturer Thermo Scientific, Smart-Vue wireless monitoring permanently logs readings, alarms and acknowledgments, issues immediate remote notifications and supports audit-trail traceability for 21 CFR Part 11, cGxP and SOP workflows. The system installs without complicated wiring, remains accessible via Smart-Vue client software over the internet, and exports audit-ready reports to Excel, Word or PDF in a single click. Multiple sensors can be viewed together, with alarm options spanning telephone, email, SMS, fax, audible, visual and printed reports. A single scalable software platform lets laboratories add further equipment over time, serving pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, IVF clinics, clinical studies and diagnostic laboratories.
