SONOREX TECHNIK MK 16 B dompelmand is een roestvaststalen inzetstuk ontworpen om voorwerpen vast te houden tijdens ultrasone reiniging en behandeling. Het rechtstreeks plaatsen van werkstukken op de tankbodem tijdens het gebruik kan slijtage veroorzaken tussen de lading en het oscillerende badoppervlak; een passende mand houdt de lading veilig zwevend. Manden van Bandelin zijn zo ontworpen dat de lading in de optimale cavitatiezone blijft, ongeveer 1–2 cm boven de tankbodem, wat een consistente ultrasone werking over de batch ondersteunt. De mand vereenvoudigt ook de hantering: ladingen kunnen in het bad worden neergelaten en er weer uit worden getild voor het spoelen zonder dat de operator in contact komt met de procesvloeistof.
