Testinkten kunnen informatie geven over de hechtsterkte van drukinkten, lakken en lijmen op alle oppervlakken zoals kunststof, metaal en glas, en over de mate van reinheid in mN/m (dyne/cm).
ROZE testinkten zijn testvloeistoffen met een gedefinieerde oppervlaktespanning die roze gekleurd zijn. Ze zijn ontwikkeld om niet-giftige testinkten aan te bieden. Deze ROZE testinkten kunnen worden gebruikt als vervanging voor de BLAUWE testinkten, aangezien de toepassing en hantering gebaseerd zijn op DIN 53364 of ISO 8296. Resultaat: Als de randen van de met kwast, wattenstaafje of stift aangebrachte inkt binnen 2 of 4 seconden (afhankelijk van de inktspecificatie) samentrekken, herhaal dan de meting met de eerstvolgende lagere waarde. Als de randen naar buiten uitlopen, herhaal de meting dan met de eerstvolgende hogere waarde. De oppervlaktespanning is bereikt wanneer de lijn gedurende 2 of 4 seconden (afhankelijk van de inktspecificatie) net stabiel blijft.
