Whirl Pak® kunststofzakken van 30.5 x 12.5 cm (L x W) zijn veelzijdige monsterzakken die bijzonder geschikt zijn voor vloeibare monsters bij voedsel-, water- en afvalwateranalyse, evenals voor biologische of chemische specimens. Gemaakt van low-density polyethylene (LDPE) hebben deze steriele zakken een metaaldraadversterking aan beide zijden van de vulopening die de opening strak houdt voor gemakkelijke toegang en vulling. Om hermetisch te sluiten wordt de zak bij de metaaldraad vastgepakt, herhaaldelijk om zijn as gedraaid, waarna de twee draadeinden worden omgevouwen en stevig aangedrukt. Het Whirl-Pak® ontwerp maakt het mogelijk de zak zo vaak als nodig te openen en te sluiten. Een robuuste lasnaad langs alle zijden zorgt voor extra zekerheid tijdens opslag en transport.
