The Xplorer® plus 8-channel pipette is an electronic air-cushion pipette with variable volume setting from 50 to 1200 µL that establishes high standards of simplicity, precision and reproducibility. Intuitive handling is achieved via a multifunction rocker using “up is up” and “down is down” logic for aspiration and dispensing, together with a selection dial that provides direct access to all pipetting modes. The self-explanatory colour display avoids complex submenus and offers an ergonomic viewing angle for clear readability in every working position. Spring-loaded tip cones reduce attachment forces on all variants up to 1000 µL. A powerful battery permits up to eight hours of continuous use and allows operation while charging from the mains. Pre-programmed as well as individual adjustments compensate for external conditions such as altitude, high-density liquids or extended tips. Autoclavable lower parts simplify decontamination. Nine display languages are supported, including English, German, French, Spanish and others. Further functions comprise individual programming, fixed volume settings, password protection, on/off switch, additional applications and maintenance-interval display.
