Description
Water sampling bottle PP without sodium thiosulfate, brown, sterile (R), 125 ml is a polypropylene container intended for the collection, transport and storage of water samples for microbiological analysis. It is suitable for all procedures that require a sterile sample. The bottles are manufactured in aseptically controlled production areas and then sterilised by gamma irradiation; batch numbers plus manufacturing and expiry dates are indicated on the packaging. The square body shape supports easy handling and economical use of storage space, while the GL 50 neck simplifies filling and pouring. A polyethylene cap with broad grip grooves, self-locking action and an internal safety ring provides a hermetic, leak-proof seal. Embossed volume graduations on the side walls improve readability of the liquid level. The brown bottles are moulded from a special polypropylene composition that blocks UV light yet retains high transparency, protecting light-sensitive samples. This version contains no sodium thiosulfate and is offered by manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte in packs of 130 pieces for routine laboratory and field sampling workflows.

What is this article?
bottle - water sampling - P.P - without sodiumthiosulfate - amber - sterile R - is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Échantillonneurs & outils de prélèvement, in Consommables.
A sampler takes a portion that is supposed to stand for the whole: a liquid from a tank, a powder from a bag, a surface from a piece of equipment. The shape of the tool decides which part of the lot is actually collected. A sample that is only the top of the container is a different measurement. The analytical methods that follow are supported by PubChem and by EURAMET measurement practice.
