Description
Calcium Standard Solution is a calcium standard prepared in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil at 1000 mg/kg Ca. The ROTI®Star solution provides a defined calcium mass fraction in a hydrocarbon oil matrix of 20 cSt viscosity, distinguishing it from aqueous calcium standards. It is supplied in a 50 ml pack with a listed weight of 0,100 kg. Density is 0,862 g/cm³, the flash point is 115 °C and the boiling point is greater than 218 °C. These physical properties describe the oil matrix that carries the 1000 mg/kg calcium content. Analytical laboratories use oil-based calcium standards when calibration or method work must be performed in a hydrocarbon medium rather than in water. The 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil and the 1000 mg/kg Ca specification together identify the composition of this standard solution. The ROTI®Star Calcium Standard Solution from manufacturer Carl ROTH is offered as a 50 ml unit. Density 0,862 g/cm³, flash point 115 °C and boiling point above 218 °C complete the physical profile of the hydrocarbon oil matrix.
