Le flacon de 0.5 l est formé en verre de haute pureté revêtu d’ambre puis fini avec une couche PU qui réduit le risque de bris de verre et de projections de liquide en cas de fracture. La coloration brune externe protège les matériaux sensibles à la lumière contre la photodégradation ; la protection UV est conforme aux normes internationales USP/EP. Le revêtement répond aux exigences ASTM E1522 et assure une protection contre les rayures, les fuites et les éclats pour les flacons de 5000 ml et moins. Une conception robuste ISO 4796-1 et des matériaux haute performance favorisent une longue durée de vie.
