Description
ThermoClean DC water bath stabiliser is a highly concentrated additive with blue indicator for water circulation systems such as water baths and circulating thermostats. The blue concentrate is intended to inhibit growth of algae, bacteria and mould, helping to reduce hose blockages, cold zones in cuvette blocks and unpleasant odours while extending the service life of tubing and system parts. Application is economical: only 0,1 %, corresponding to 1 ml of concentrate per 1 litre of water (approximately 30 drops equal 1 ml). When the blue colour fades, redosing or renewal of the system fill is advised. The formulation contains a defoamer, remains free of aggressive phosphates, acids and alkalis, is solvent-free and fully water-soluble, and leaves no residues. Foam formation is avoided even under strong circulation. This 100 ml ThermoClean DC blue grade from manufacturer Dinkelberg is suitable for thermostats and circulating pumps made of water-resistant metals or alloys, glass or common plastics, including closed temperature-control systems, and supports longer intervals between bath changes.

What is this article?
ThermoClean DC Water Bath Stabiliser Solution, 100ml, for water baths and is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Dinkelberg for laboratory use. It sits in Indicators & indicator solutions, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.
An indicator solution changes colour at a stated point, usually a pH interval or a redox potential, so a titration endpoint can be seen. The solvent and the concentration decide how sharp the change is. A solid indicator dye and a ready solution are different articles.
A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
