Description

B5Z behropur cartridge, unpressurised, is an ion-exchange VE cartridge for laboratory and technical water full demineralisation under non-pressurised operating conditions. Part of the behropur cartridge family, the B5Z model is intended as a replacement or standalone demineraliser cartridge where the water path is not under system pressure. It is supplied as one piece with a net weight of 4,80 kg and a gross weight of 5,00 kg; packaging measures 0,45 m width, 0,17 m depth and 0,17 m height for a packaging volume of 0,013005 m³. Manufactured in Germany by Behr, this unpressurised cartridge suits ion-exchange and full-demineralisation applications in analytical, preparation and general laboratory workflows that require demineralised process water. The compact format supports straightforward cartridge exchange in existing behropur or compatible setups designed for pressureless operation. Laboratories use such cartridges to maintain consistent demineralised water quality at the point of use without installing large central treatment plant.

This article is part of Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, in SPE & sample preparation.

Questions about B5Z behropur water de-ioniser, gravity flow cartrigde

What is this article?

B5Z behropur water de-ioniser, gravity flow cartrigde is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Behr for laboratory use. It sits in Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

Loose sorbent, silica gel and ion-exchange resin are the phases bought in bulk to pack a column or to stir into a solution. Particle size and activity, or the ion-exchange capacity, are the specification. A TLC silica and a flash silica of different particle sizes are not the same separation.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
