Description
EUROSTAR 200 P4 control is an extremely powerful electronic laboratory stirrer for highly viscous media and volumes up to 100 l (H2O). Equipped with a detachable remote control and a multilingual digital TFT display, the microprocessor-controlled drive holds the set speed constant between 0/4 and 530 min⁻¹ across two speed ranges, even when medium viscosity changes. RS 232 and USB interfaces support control and documentation of all parameters, while an integrated torque trend display indicates viscosity changes. An electronic safety circuit shuts the unit down in the event of a fault or overload; additional features include programmable functions, integrated temperature measurement, interval operation, a timer, an adjustable safety circuit, lock function, stepless speed setting, overload protection, short-term overload capability, slim design, quiet running and error-code display. The H 67.60 temperature sensor and WH 11 WiCo holder are included. This electronic stirrer from manufacturer IKA is supplied as 1 pc with a net weight of 5,800 kg.
This article is part of Overhead stirrers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about EUROSTAR 200 P4 control, Electronic overhead stirrer
What is this article?
EUROSTAR 200 P4 control, Electronic overhead stirrer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Overhead stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
An overhead stirrer drives a shaft from above, for volumes and viscosities a magnetic bar cannot move. Torque and speed range are the ratings. The chuck and the stand are part of using it. A high-speed disperser is a different head.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
