Description
Flexsafe® RM 20 L optical single-use bioreactor bags are intended for cell cultivation on rocking-motion platforms that provide gentle mixing with low shear stress. Each 20 L optical bag integrates single-use opto-chemical pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors that are already pre-calibrated, enabling continuous culture monitoring without conventional reusable probes. Used together with the Biostat® RM control tower, the bags support high-end cultivation with full process automation. They fit Biostat® RM bioreactors and belong to a single-use bag family covering sizes from 2 L to 200 L from manufacturer Sartorius. Rocking-motion operation is well suited to sensitive mammalian and other shear-sensitive cells where controlled mass transfer and reproducible single-use handling are required. Bags up to 50 L in this product line can also be specified with a 38 mm screw cap for insertion or removal of larger objects such as microcarriers inside a laminar flow cabinet. This pack supplies 5 pieces for laboratory and bioprocess workflows that rely on pre-configured optical sensing and rocking-motion bioreactor hardware.

Questions about Flexsafe RM 20L optical (5 pcs)
What is this article?
Flexsafe RM 20L optical (5 pcs) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Cell culture accessories, inside Cell culture, in Microbiology lab supplies.
Cell-culture accessories are the pipettes, the filters and the small tools that stay sterile around a cabinet: aspirators, tube caps, rack inserts. The point is sterility and a material that does not leach into the medium. A non-sterile version of the same shape is a different article.
Cell culture grows cells outside the body. The medium, often with serum, supplies what the flask does not. A flask or a dish is the vessel, treated so the cells attach or left untreated so they float. Contamination by microbes, or by another cell line, is the ordinary failure. Cold-chain articles in this work, including serum, are never part of free standard delivery. Lines are catalogued by ATCC. Papers are on PubMed. Practice is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic.
