bioMIXcontrol is a powerful control unit for 2mag bioMIXdrive stirrer drives, built for demanding laboratory routines and continuous heat-free operation. It connects one bioMIXdrive 1, 2, 3 or 4 drive with heat-free 6 W per stirring point and an extended speed range from 5 to 250 rpm, enabling jerk-free, even stirring even at the lowest speeds. Ten-step power adjustment (10–100 %) supports high output for large or viscous volumes and reduced power for fully heat-free continuous duty, for example in CO2 incubators. A digital display shows speed and power settings; SoftStart ensures reliable acceleration of the stir bar and QuickSet allows fast setting of start or maximum speed, while the last operating state is stored on switch-off. The durable stainless-steel housing from manufacturer 2mag is easy to clean. Interfaces such as 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, RS232, USB, Ethernet and OPC UA (LADS-oriented) are available, with alternative housings and firmware changes on request. Maximum stirring power is 40 W, protection class IP20, dimensions 200 × 155 × 38 mm, supply 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz, output 48 VDC. Developed and made in Germany.
