MIXcontrol 40 RS232 is a compact control unit designed for MIXdrive magnetic stirring systems, delivering a robust 40 W stirring output and a wide speed range from 100 to 2,000 rpm. The unit connects up to two MIXdrive stirrer drives and supports jerk-free mixing even at low speeds, with a 10-step power adjustment that enables high performance for large or viscous volumes as well as reduced power for heat-free continuous operation, for example in incubators. A clear digital display shows speed and power settings, while SoftStart ensures reliable catch and centring of the stir bar and safe acceleration; QuickSet allows rapid selection of start or maximum speed, and the last operating state is retained after switch-off. The durable stainless-steel housing is easy to clean and measures 200 × 155 × 38 mm, with protection class IP20, output voltage 48 VDC and a universal mains input of 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz. Net weight is approximately 1,60 kg. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the controller is supplied as 1 piece and is suited to laboratory stirring setups that require RS232 connectivity and stable everyday control.
