steriMIXcontrol is a powerful control unit for steriMIXdrive magnetic stirrer drives, delivering 20 W stirring power over a speed range of 100 to 1200 rpm. Integrated mixWATCH contactless stir-bar monitoring detects loss of magnetic coupling caused by high speed or changing viscosity, then stops the drive, recentres the bar and gently restarts until stable operation is restored—supporting reliable unattended use and work with non-visible vessels. SoftStart ensures secure catch and centring of the stir bar, while an adjustable interval function (0–240 s) provides timed automatic restarts. Four-stage power setting (25/50/75/100 %), a digital display for speed and interval, QuickSet for rapid start and maximum speed selection, and QuickStop against residual run-on complete the operating concept. The last functional state is retained after switch-off. Interfaces such as 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, RS232, USB, Ethernet and OPC UA are available, with alternative housings and software adaptations on request. The stainless-steel housing measures 200 × 155 × 38 mm (IP20) with a net weight of 1,60 kg. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the unit is supplied as one piece.
