Description

Arium® comfort I with 1 RO module without TOC is a laboratory water purification system that delivers ASTM Type 1 ultrapure water and Type 3 pure water in one unit. Directly connected to potable feed water, it uses reverse osmosis technology with a unique ion-exchange cartridge for consistent purified water quality. A built-in UV lamp helps minimise TOC contaminants, while intelligent iJust software optimises water usage and supports efficient, time-saving operation. The easy-to-read display and compatibility with Bagtank technology help protect against secondary contamination. From manufacturer Sartorius, this configuration is supplied without a TOC monitor and is suited to ion chromatography, Type 1 water for HPLC analysis, and feed-water purification for humidifiers, autoclaves and glassware dishwashers. With one RO module, the benchtop system combines reliable dual-grade production and UV treatment in a compact footprint. Offered as one piece with a net weight of 28,000 kg, it supports laboratories that need ultrapure and pure water with UV reduction of organics but without integrated TOC monitoring.

This article is part of Ultrapure & pure water systems, in Water purification.

Questions about arium® comfort I Bench-Top System

What is this article?

arium® comfort I Bench-Top System is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.

A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.

Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
