Description

CellOx® 325 is a galvanic oxygen sensor supplied with the OxiCal®-SL calibration and storage vessel for convenient handling of dissolved oxygen measurements. The sensor incorporates a waterproof plug rated IP 67 and a fixed cable length of 1,5 m, supporting reliable use in laboratory and field water-analysis settings. Each unit is delivered complete with grinding foil, three exchange membrane heads and electrolyte solution, so the sensor can be prepared and put into service promptly. Cleaning solution RL-G 205204 is not included and must be ordered separately. This galvanic oxygen sensor from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand is intended for routine oxygen determination in aqueous samples, environmental monitoring and process control applications. The integrated OxiCal®-SL vessel facilitates calibration and protects the membrane during storage and transport. Net weight is 0,4545 kg and gross weight 0,505 kg. The compact accessory set and robust connector design make the CellOx® 325 a practical choice wherever galvanic sensing technology is required for dissolved oxygen work.

Questions about CellOx® 325, Galvanic oxygen sensor with OxiCal®-SL calibration and storage vess

What is this article?

CellOx® 325, Galvanic oxygen sensor with OxiCal®-SL calibration and storage vess is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
