Description

CHROMABOND SPE vacuum chamber for 12 columns is a complete solid-phase extraction manifold designed to process up to twelve SPE columns in parallel under controlled vacuum. The set comprises a glass trough with lid, lid feed-throughs, feet, lid gasket, exchangeable polypropylene needles, manometer, regulating valve, Luer stopcocks and caps, a PP collection tank and an adjustable collection rack with six plates. This configuration supports simultaneous sample loading, washing and elution while monitoring vacuum via the integrated manometer and fine-tuning flow with the regulating valve. Supplied as one complete set from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel, the chamber is suited to routine SPE sample preparation in analytical laboratories handling environmental, food, pharmaceutical or clinical matrices. Exchangeable PP needles and Luer fittings simplify maintenance and column connection, while the variable collection rack accommodates different vessel formats. Built for laboratory SPE workflows, it provides a durable, transparent glass working area and organised collection for efficient multi-position extractions.

Questions about Chromab. SPE vacuum manifold f. 12 col.

What is this article?

Chromab. SPE vacuum manifold f. 12 col. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Macherey-Nagel for laboratory use. It sits in SPE cartridges & columns, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

An SPE cartridge holds a bed of sorbent. Bed mass, sorbent chemistry and volume are the specification. A 100 mg C18 cartridge and a 1 g C18 cartridge take different sample loads and different elution volumes. The method names all three.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
