Description
Coated volumetric flask, Class A is a clear-glass volumetric flask with a 300 ml nominal volume, a GGJ 14/23 ground joint and a PE plug. This Class A flask is intended to contain a defined volume of liquid for quantitative laboratory work, including preparation and dilution of solutions to a fixed volume. The body is clear glass, so solution colour and the liquid meniscus remain visible during filling. The flask is coated and is fitted with a polyethylene (PE) plug matched to the GGJ 14/23 joint, allowing the neck to be closed after the meniscus has been set. Two pieces are supplied per pack at a weight of 0,305 kg, from manufacturer Isolab. In volumetric analysis, a 300 ml Class A flask of this format is used at the bench for making up standards, sample solutions and reagents prior to titration or instrumental measurement.
