Portable compact balance series CQT with a capacity of 5000 g is a practical weighing solution for laboratory and scientific environments. Equipped with a stainless steel weighing plate, the instrument incorporates ShockProtect™ overload protection, which permits loading of up to 200 kg without damaging the weighing mechanism. Security is enhanced by the option to lock the balance using a chain and Kensington™ lock. Power can be supplied by six AA batteries or an AC adapter at 200-240 V / 50-60 Hz, while automatic shut-off helps reduce energy consumption. Results appear on a large backlit display that is sharp and quick to read. External dimensions measure 170 x 245 x 80 mm, and the net weight is 0,900 kg. For models fitted with a 120 mm weighing plate, a removable draft shield is included and the innovative design allows balances to be stacked for storage. Supplied with a handbook from manufacturer Labbox, the unit carries a three-year warranty. An optional manufacturer calibration certificate (BAAC-CAL-001) may be ordered together with the balance.
