It pairs the professional reference balance KERN CFS 6K0.1—also usable on its own—with a high-capacity weighing bridge to meet demanding accuracy needs. Desired reference piece quantity and known reference weight are programmable via the keypad. Three displays show weight, reference weight and total piece count. PLU memory stores articles with additional text, reference weight and tare weight, for example of a container. The fill-to-target function lets target piece count or target weight be set; reaching the target is signalled acoustically and optically. Automatic reference optimisation stepwise improves the average part weight for precise counting. A protective working cover is included. Quantity counting is performed with high precision on the KERN KFP-V20 IP65 platform from manufacturer Kern, featuring a stainless-steel weighing plate, painted steel substructure and aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) with dust and splash-water protection IP65.
