Description

Findenser™ NS29 cone, NS24 socket is a high-performance air condenser measuring 400 mm in length, designed for reflux syntheses with solvent volumes up to 1 litre. It is fitted with an NS29 cone and an NS24 socket for connection to common ground-joint laboratory glassware. Mounting is possible with standard laboratory clamps; alternatively the Findenser™ mounting set can be used and is supplied separately. The air-cooled design removes the need for continuous water cooling, thereby saving water, bench space and running costs during reflux operations. This condenser from manufacturer Heidolph serves as an accessory for magnetic stirrers and associated heating equipment in organic synthesis laboratories. It delivers efficient condensation performance while simplifying infrastructure requirements and supporting dependable everyday use in research settings. Net weight is 1,200 kg and gross weight 1,380 kg; the unit’s compact packaging volume eases storage and handling with other glassware components.

Questions about FindenserTM NS29 Cone, NS24 Socket

What is this article?

FindenserTM NS29 Cone, NS24 Socket is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Distillation heads, adapters & columns, inside Distillation & extraction glassware, in Labware.

A still head, an adapter or a column is the glass between the boiling flask and the condenser. A Vigreux or packed column gives the vapour a surface so a closer-boiling mixture can separate. The joint sizes at both ends have to match the flask and the condenser.

Distillation separates liquids by boiling point. A condenser turns the vapour back into liquid: Liebig, coil and cold-finger shapes differ in how much cooling surface they offer. A still head and a column sit between the flask and the condenser. A Soxhlet extractor washes a solid again and again with the same solvent. Ground joints have a standard size, and the joint, not the flask, is what has to match. The pieces are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
