The ball funnel "ARNOLD" V2.0 B53 is a robust safety funnel for secure disposal of hazardous liquid waste in laboratory environments. With a funnel diameter of 200 mm, it is made from white high-density polyethylene (PE-HD) and includes a hinged lid, integrated ball, 220 mm safety lance, splash protection and removable dirt sieve. Two independent safety mechanisms—an integrated ball in the funnel basin and a sealing ring in the hinged lid—prevent escape of toxic or harmful gases. The optimised design ensures greater stability and longevity, resisting deformation under heavy use. From manufacturer SCAT, the funnel features an improved sieve for retaining larger particles and supporting laboratory bottles, plus a splash guard with integrated air channels to minimise bubble formation. The ball valve opens automatically during filling, while the safety lance can be shortened individually for clean drainage of liquid waste. All essential components are removable for easy cleaning.
