The funnel "ARNOLD" with lid V2.0 GL45 is an electrically conductive safety funnel for secure disposal of hazardous liquid waste, including explosive or flammable substances. Featuring a 200 mm diameter, it is manufactured from electrically conductive high-density polyethylene (PE-HD) and equipped with splash protection, removable sieve, grounding cable and hinged lid. Dual independent safety features—an integrated ball in the funnel basin and a sealing ring in the hinged lid—prevent release of toxic gases. Static charges are safely discharged via the grounding cable thanks to the conductive material. The design from manufacturer SCAT provides high stability and durability, preventing deformation even under intensive use. An optimised sieve captures larger particles and supports laboratory bottles, while the improved splash guard with air channels reduces bubble formation. The ball valve opens automatically on filling and the safety lance can be shortened as required for clean waste discharge. All main components detach for straightforward cleaning.
