Description
Quantitative hardened folded filter paper, fast filtering, Ø 110 mm, is a low-ash cellulose grade with a maximum ash content of 0,02 %. It bridges ash-free quantitative paper (maximum 0,002 %) and qualitative low-ash paper (maximum 0,06 %) for non-critical quantitative applications. Fast filtration supports retention of bulky precipitates such as iron hydroxide and many metallic sulfides, and the hardened construction is very moisture-resistant during use. The paper has a grammage of 80 g/m², a pore size of 12–16 µm and a thickness of 250 µm. Supplied as folded filters in a pack of 100 pieces from manufacturer Labbox, it is equivalent to Whatman 54 and suits laboratories that need rapid throughput with reliable wet strength. The 110 mm diameter folded format is convenient for gravity filtration setups in analytical chemistry, research and quality-control environments where efficient handling of voluminous precipitates is required.
