Description

HCHO 14678 formaldehyde reagent test allows sensitive photometric determination of formaldehyde in the range 0,02–8,00 mg/l HCHO. The kit contains reagents for 100 tests and requires a 3 ml sample volume. Measurements can be performed in 10 mm, 20 mm or 50 mm cuvettes on PhotoLab® instruments. The chromotropic-acid method delivers clear colour development and is supplied with a batch certificate for full traceability. This reagent test from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand is intended for laboratories analysing process water, wastewater or industrial effluents where formaldehyde monitoring is required. Flexible path-length options accommodate both low- and higher-concentration samples, while the generous number of determinations supports extended analytical series. Simple reagent addition and compatibility with standard laboratory photometers make the test a practical choice for routine quality-control and environmental surveillance applications.

Questions about HCHO 14678, HCHOFormaldehyde Reagent test Measurement ran

What is this article?

HCHO 14678, HCHOFormaldehyde Reagent test Measurement ran is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
