Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-112 is a ROTI®Star multi-element standard with three elements in 5 % HNO3 for trace and water-analysis applications. Concentrations are given as calcium 120 mg/l, magnesium 19700 mg/l and zinc 100 mg/l, providing a focused Ca–Mg–Zn mix for ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS and related elemental methods. The nitric acid matrix has a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 83 °C. Supplied as a 100 ml unit weighing 0,120 kg, the solution is positioned among element standards for water analysis. This CR-112 preparation from manufacturer Carl ROTH forms part of the ROTI®Star range where defined multi-element levels in nitric acid are required. Laboratories can use the stated calcium, magnesium and zinc concentrations when building calibration series or checking instrument response for these analytes. Transport classification is UN number 2031. The combination of a 5 % HNO3 medium with clearly specified mg/l values for Ca, Mg and Zn supports multi-element workflows in environmental and water-testing laboratories that rely on ICP and AAS techniques.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-112, ROTI®Star 3 elements

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-112, ROTI®Star 3 elements is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
