Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-79 is a ROTI®Star four-element calibration standard formulated for atomic spectroscopy workflows, including ICP-OES and related multi-element analyses. The solution provides defined concentrations of magnesium at 20 mg/l, silicon at 10 mg/l, calcium at 100 mg/l and iron at 10 mg/l in 2% HNO3, supporting instrument calibration and quality-control checks in elemental analysis. Physical data include a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C; the preparation is classified under UN number 3264. Supplied in a 100 ml pack, this multi-element standard is suited to laboratories performing routine spectrometric determinations of Mg, Si, Ca and Fe. The product is available from manufacturer Carl ROTH within the ROTI®Star range for multi-element ICP standards. Use it to establish calibration curves, verify instrument response and maintain traceable working standards in environmental, materials and industrial analytical laboratories that rely on consistent multi-element reference solutions for ICP-based methods.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-79, ROTI®Star 4 elements

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-79, ROTI®Star 4 elements is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
