Description

ICP multi-element standard solution CR-82 ROTI®Star is a calibration standard containing 19 elements at 100 mg/l for inductively coupled plasma techniques such as ICP-OES and related atomic spectroscopy. The solution comprises As, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Sn, Ti, Tl, V and Zn in 5 %. HNO3 with trace HF, providing a multi-analyte matrix suited to simultaneous calibration and instrument qualification. Physical data list a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 84 °C; transport classification is UN number 3264. The defined 100 mg/l level simplifies dilution schemes for calibration curves and continuing calibration verification. Use is intended for professional spectroscopic applications where a broad elemental suite in nitric acid medium with trace hydrofluoric acid is specified.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-82, ROTI®Star 19 elements, 100 mg/l, 50 ml

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-82, ROTI®Star 19 elements, 100 mg/l, 50 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
