Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-84 is a ROTI®Star calibration standard containing 18 elements at 1000 mg/l for atomic spectroscopy applications. The solution comprises Al, Cd, Co, Cu, Ga, Fe, In, Pb, Li, Mn, Mo, Ni, V, Zn, Bi, Si, W and Zr in 5 %. HNO3 Density is approximately 1,1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is above 84 °C; the preparation is assigned UN number 2031. This multi-element standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH is intended for ICP-OES and related atomic spectroscopy workflows where a defined multi-element reference in nitric acid matrix is required. The 1000 mg/l concentration level supports preparation of working standards for calibration and quality control in multi-element analysis. With eighteen specified elements in a single 5 %. HNO3 matrix, CR-84 offers a practical ready-to-dilute format for laboratories performing ICP multi-element determinations. quantity suits routine analytical benches that need traceable multi-element stock for spectroscopy method setup and ongoing measurement series.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-84, ROTI®Star 18 elements, 1000 mg/l, 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-84, ROTI®Star 18 elements, 1000 mg/l, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
