The instrument displays the current temperature and the maximum value, features a backlight for improved readability, and can be switched between °C and °F. Accuracy is given as ± 2,0 % of the measured value, approximately ± 2 °C. The distance-to-spot ratio of 11:1 allows measurements from a practical stand-off distance. Overall dimensions are 175 x 39 x 79 mm and the unit weighs 330 g. It is supplied complete with a belt pouch and batteries (2 x 1,5 V AAA) as a ready-to-use single piece from manufacturer LAT.
