Description
IoT-Line platform scale KERN IFC 60K10DLM is a robust industrial balance engineered for harsh production environments and optionally available with verification. The platform features a stainless-steel weighing plate on a painted steel base together with a silicone-coated aluminium load cell offering IP65 dust and splash protection. Consistent KERN menu structure, key layout and interface logic simplify daily operation across the product family. Via the KERN Universal Port (KUP), data and control signals travel through one housing connector or, using the KUP Extension Box, through up to three interfaces simultaneously. Choose from RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WLAN or Bluetooth and assign each channel a dedicated task—continuous PC logging, stable-value printout or analogue device control at target weight. A built-in real-time clock records precise timestamps that survive power loss; optional alibi memory enables paperless storage of verified weighing results. The scale can be queried and controlled remotely from a PC or CRM/ERP system with the KERN Communication Protocol. Easy battery access leaves any verification seal intact. A table stand with wall bracket for the indicator and a protective working cover complete the standard delivery.

Questions about IoT-Line Platform Scale KERN IFC, 60K10DLM
What is this article?
IoT-Line Platform Scale KERN IFC, 60K10DLM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KERN for laboratory use. It sits in Bench, platform & industrial scales, inside Balances & scales, in Lab instruments.
A bench, platform or industrial scale takes kilograms to tonnes, with a platform instead of a small pan. Resolution is coarser. The load cell and the platform size are the specification. It is the scale for a drum or a packed goods check, not for a milligram of standard.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Balances & scales. The sub-category is Bench, platform & industrial scales. The catalogue is Lab instruments.

What should I check before I order?
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
How does ordering and shipping work?
