Description
LBX 30 Bench Scale (LATITUDE) is a robust industrial bench scale with a maximum capacity of 30 kg and a readability of 5 g. It is fitted with a stainless steel weighing pan of 245 × 180 mm and offers weighing, piece counting, percent weighing, checkweighing and a hold function for versatile laboratory and production tasks. A bright backlit LCD stays easy to read under poor lighting conditions, and LED check lights show clearly when target limits are reached. Strong overload protection shields the weighing mechanism, while the sealed keypad resists dirt and accidental splashes. Height-adjustable high-quality rubber feet ensure a secure, level position on the bench. An internal battery is included for cordless use of about 240 hours, with automatic power-off available and a mains power supply supplied as standard. Calibration is performed externally; the instrument is not legal for trade and provides no data interface. From manufacturer AE Adam, the LBX 30 combines durable construction with practical everyday functions for industrial weighing applications.

Questions about LBX 30 Tischwaage (LATITUDE)
What is this article?
LBX 30 Tischwaage (LATITUDE) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes AE Adam for laboratory use. It sits in Bench, platform & industrial scales, inside Balances & scales, in Lab instruments.
A bench, platform or industrial scale takes kilograms to tonnes, with a platform instead of a small pan. Resolution is coarser. The load cell and the platform size are the specification. It is the scale for a drum or a packed goods check, not for a milligram of standard.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
