Description
Lithium Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard containing 1000 mg/kg lithium in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil. Offered as a ROTI®Star preparation, it serves as an analytical standard for atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) in hydrocarbon matrices. The lithium mass fraction is 1000 mg/kg Li in a 20 cSt hydrocarbon-oil matrix used for metallo-organic calibration. Density is 0,862 g/cm³, the flash point is 115 °C and the boiling point is greater than 218 °C. The solution is supplied in a 50 ml pack for laboratory use in oil-based AAS and ICP methods. This lithium standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH combines a defined lithium content with a hydrocarbon oil carrier of 20 cSt viscosity. Physical properties of density, flash point and boiling point describe the handling characteristics of the oil-based standard under ordinary laboratory conditions. The 50 ml unit quantity is intended for preparation of calibration solutions in analytical laboratories working with metallo-organic standards for AAS and ICP.
