Description
Mercury Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard prepared in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil for elemental analysis by AAS and ICP. The 50 ml quantity is packed in LDPE and belongs to the ROTI®Star line from manufacturer Carl ROTH, among analytical chemicals used as standards for atomic absorption spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma methods. The solution has a density of 0,862 g/cm³, a flash point of 115 °C and a boiling point greater than 218 °C, consistent with the hydrocarbon-oil matrix of this ROTI®Star preparation. As a metallo-organic mercury standard, the solution is intended for laboratory calibration and control where mercury is determined in organic matrices by AAS or ICP. The 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil carrier is the stated matrix for this ROTI®Star mercury standard and sets the viscosity of the oil-based preparation. Physical properties include the stated density, flash point and boiling point of the hydrocarbon-oil formulation. Consult the safety data sheet and apply laboratory procedures appropriate to hydrocarbon-oil metallo-organic standards when using this preparation.
