Description

Mobile filtered fume hood, type ECO2 GS is intended for handling chemical substances at moderate or room temperature in analytical, research, quality-control and clinical laboratories. Type GS cabinets combine an activated-carbon filter with an H14 HEPA absolute filter (EN-1822) for simultaneous gas and particle filtration, plus a synthetic biofibre pre-filter class G4 (EN-779). Activated-carbon media comply with EN-141 and are offered in grades matched to organic vapours, inorganic acids, formaldehyde, ammonia/amines, mercury and balanced mixed atmospheres. Serial equipment comprises an anemometer, filter-saturation monitoring and a three-year warranty. Average treated airflow is 170 m³/h at a front face velocity of 0,50 m/s; internal volume is 0,287 m³ with roughly 9 air renewals per minute. Electrical data are 90 W at 220 V / 50 Hz, operating noise is 50 dB, and external dimensions are 780 × 600 × 1010 mm. This mobile filtered fume hood from manufacturer LAT is supplied as one piece for adaptable laboratory installation where both vapour and particulate control are required.

Questions about Mobile gas flue with filter,

What is this article?

Mobile gas flue with filter, is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes LAT for laboratory use. It sits in Half & full-face respirators, inside Respiratory protection, in Lab safety equipment.

A half-mask covers nose and mouth. A full-face mask adds the eyes and takes the same cartridges in a larger body. The cartridge, not the rubber facepiece, chooses the hazard. The mask has to be the size that seals, which is a fit test, not a guess from a shirt size.

A respirator filters the air the person breathes, or supplies other air. An FFP mask is a particle filter worn on the face. A half-mask or a full-face mask takes cartridges, and the cartridge is chosen for the gas or the particle. The mask that is not sealed to the face does not filter. Fit is part of the product. Standards are listed under ISO respiratory protection. The rule is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
