neoLabLine Aluminium Block in MTP format with an 8 × 12 hole layout for 0,2 ml PCR tubes supports tempering of reaction vessels and PCR tubes in a compact footprint. The arrangement is compatible with multichannel pipettes and suits 96-well microplates as well as 8- and 12-tube strips from major suppliers. It fits ice baths, standard water baths and hot plates, and is well suited to temperature-critical work such as PCR. Aluminium delivers fast cool-down and lasting cold effect when pre-chilled, plus even temperature distribution when pre-warmed; use without prior tempering is also possible. Specially shaped bores improve heat exchange and help prevent sample loss if tubes lift or tip. The compact sample layout enables one-handed handling, including screw caps.
