neoChoice anaesthesia/induction chamber for rats is a high-quality Plexiglas enclosure for controlled anaesthetic gas delivery and containment during laboratory animal procedures. The box is bonded water- and gas-tight to maintain a sealed working volume. Anaesthetic gas is introduced in the lower section while extraction is arranged from the top, supporting a clear flow path through the chamber. Hose connections are set as standard for tubing with 6 mm inner diameter; a 1/8" thread is used, so the connection size can be adapted when different hose dimensions are required. The lid is a sliding cover that can be fully withdrawn and includes a handle for smooth operation. This sliding-lid design keeps turbulence of anaesthetic gas to a minimum and limits release into the surrounding workspace when the chamber is opened or closed. Internal dimensions of the rat chamber are 238 × 118 × 130 mm (length × width × height).
