It belongs to the modular D4 layout that runs a single tray with up to 51 samples or stacks two trays for up to 102 samples in one buffer chamber, reducing the bench space required for wide-gel work. The UV-transparent tray format is 17 x 16 cm (length x width) and accepts up to three combs, enabling up to three evenly spaced sample series on the same gel. Designed as a gel-tray replacement for the Owl™ D4 electrophoresis system from manufacturer Thermo Scientific, the EasyCast™ gasketed UVT tray restores original casting and imaging compatibility when trays wear or are damaged.
