Description
The pH/conductivity/TDS/°C probe is a pre-amplified multiparameter sensor in a chemical-resistant polypropylene body for agriculture, greenhouses and hydroponics. It measures pH, conductivity or total dissolved solids (TDS) and temperature in one assembly and is intended for use with the Groline HI9814 meter. The pH channel employs low-temperature glass, a spherical tip of 8 mm diameter, a textile junction and a maintenance-free gel electrolyte with a single Ag/AgCl reference. Conductivity and TDS are determined amperometrically with two stainless-steel pins, while the integrated temperature sensor provides automatic temperature compensation for pH and EC/TDS. Stated ranges are pH 0 to 13 and temperature 0,0 to 50,0 °C, with a maximum pressure of 0,1 bar. A 1 m seven-pin cable with Quick Connect DIN links the probe to the instrument. This combination probe from manufacturer Hanna Instruments is supplied as one piece, combining amplifier, durable polypropylene housing and multiparameter sensing for nutrient solutions and related horticultural matrices where stable, temperature-compensated readings are essential.

Questions about pH/EC/TDS/Temperaturee probe, polypropylene body, amplified, DIN
What is this article?
pH/EC/TDS/Temperaturee probe, polypropylene body, amplified, DIN is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
