Description

ROTI®Load DNA 1x (with glycerol) is a ready-to-use 1x DNA gel loading buffer containing glycerol and supplied DNase-free for DNA gel electrophoresis. Density (D) is 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point (bp) is 100 °C. The 5 ml pack is used to prepare DNA samples for loading onto electrophoresis gels, including vertical electrophoresis (PAGE) and the separation of biomolecules in PAGE. As a 1x buffer it is at working strength and is mixed with samples without dilution from a higher concentrate. Glycerol is included in this ROTI®Load DNA 1x formulation. DNase-free status is specified for this ready-to-use loading buffer. This ROTI®Load DNA 1x (with glycerol) buffer from manufacturer Carl ROTH is supplied ready-to-use for routine DNA gel loading. Combine the buffer with the DNA sample immediately before application to the gel according to laboratory protocol. Unit quantity is 5 ml and pack weight is 0,007 kg. Physical data include a density of 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C.

This article belongs on Electrophoresis systems & power supplies, in Electrophoresis.

Questions about ROTI®Load DNA 1x (with glycerol), 1x DNA gel loading buffer,ready-to-use, 5 ml

What is this article?

ROTI®Load DNA 1x (with glycerol), 1x DNA gel loading buffer,ready-to-use, 5 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Electrophoresis systems & power supplies, inside Electrophoresis, in Life Science & Microbiology.

An electrophoresis system is the tank and the electrodes. A power supply holds voltage, current or power. The gel size the tank accepts and the voltage range of the supply are the specification. A power supply that cannot hold a constant voltage will not run a method that demands one.

Electrophoresis pulls charged molecules through a gel. Smaller ones move farther. Agarose gels separate nucleic acids. Polyacrylamide gels separate proteins. A comb forms the wells. A power supply holds the voltage or the current. The gel percentage is the sieve. A marker lane is how the bands are named. The methods are in the PubMed literature. Sequences of the nucleic acids are on NCBI Nucleotide.
