With a density of 1,12 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C, the diluent provides a convenient urea stock for vertical electrophoresis workflows. It is formulated in water and supplied ready for direct use in gel-casting protocols that require high urea concentrations. Available in a 1 l glass pack from manufacturer Carl ROTH, the product supports laboratories performing DNA sequencing gels and denaturing polyacrylamide electrophoresis.
