The 4 l water heating bath reaches temperatures up to 99 °C and is equipped with a digital temperature display as well as carrying handles. A manual lift with mechanical end-point stop allows precise positioning of the glassware; one-handed operation of the lift is convenient for both right- and left-handed users and the immersion angle can be adjusted. The locking mechanism provides a red indicator for the unlocked position of the vapour passage tube. Speed is adjusted continuously over the range 20 to 300 rpm by means of a rotary knob and scale. User safety is supported by 24 V low voltage within the instrument, and the flask fastening features an integrated push-off mechanism for straightforward exchange of the evaporator flask. Compact space requirements and full compatibility with the complete IKA RV 10 glassware series distinguish this flexible system from manufacturer IKA.
