Description
S 25 EC - C - 18 G is a dispersing tool with an 18 mm diameter for the T 25 easy clean series, intended for general high-speed, high-shear mixing, wet milling, emulsifying, particle size reduction in liquid media, and vigorous dissolution of miscible and immiscible solids and liquids. The easy-clean design allows the shaft and rotor to be withdrawn from the housing by simply turning and lowering the clamp, so the shaft tube can be fully flushed and cleaned from the inside. This dispersing tool is compatible only with the T 25 easy clean digital and T 25 easy clean control dispersers; the temperature sensor function of T tools can be activated only with the T 25 easy clean control. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,720 kg, the tool comes from manufacturer IKA and is aimed at laboratories that need efficient dispersion and straightforward cleaning between batches. Non-sterile construction suits standard laboratory use in sample preparation and formulation workflows.
This article is part of Homogenisers & dispersers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about S 25 EC - C - 18 G, Dispersing element, Ø18 mm for T 25 easy clean
What is this article?
S 25 EC - C - 18 G, Dispersing element, Ø18 mm for T 25 easy clean is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Homogenisers & dispersers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A homogeniser or disperser uses a rotor inside a stator to tear a sample and disperse it. Tip diameter and speed decide the particle size. A generator for 2 mL and a generator for 1 L are different tools on, sometimes, the same drive.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
