Description

Smart-Vue™ 868 MHz wireless temperature module with internal sensor is a digital radio module system for ambient temperature monitoring of laboratory equipment in Europe. The internal probe covers 10 °C to 50 °C and is supplied calibrated at 23 °C. Contents comprise the module with internal sensor, a 3,6 V lithium battery, mounting holder with Velcro, magnet and hardware, and a customer reference letter. Thermo Scientific Smart-Vue wireless monitoring provides round-the-clock surveillance with continuous data collection, permanent recording of readings, alarms, and user acknowledgments, plus remote notifications that help protect sample integrity. Audit-trail capability supports conformance efforts toward 21 CFR Part 11, cGxP, and related SOP requirements. The system installs without complicated wiring, remains accessible via Smart-Vue client software over the internet, and exports audit-ready reports to Excel, Word, or PDF in a single step. Multiple sensors can be viewed together, with alarm options spanning telephone, email, SMS text, fax, audible, visual, and printed reports. Scalable software grows with additional laboratory assets and is suited to refrigerators, freezers, incubators, clean rooms, storage areas, and ovens in highly controlled pharmaceutical, biotech, IVF, clinical, and diagnostic environments.

Questions about Smart-Vue™ 868MHz Modules and Module/Sensor Combos (Europe) Monitoring

What is this article?

Smart-Vue™ 868MHz Modules and Module/Sensor Combos (Europe) Monitoring is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Equipment LED for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
