SONOREX KB 04 insert beaker with rubber ring is a plastic accessory vessel of 400 ml capacity designed for suspension in perforated lids of type DE on ultrasonic cleaners. It is required whenever cleaners or solvents that are aggressive toward stainless steel (for example TICKOPUR J 80 U) are used, thereby protecting the tank of the cleaning device. Because insert vessels must not rest on the bath floor, matching perforated lids from Bandelin accommodate the beaker safely. Internal dimensions are 76 × 76 × 110 mm (L × W × D). When several insert beakers are operated in one ultrasonic unit, different cleaning or disinfection preparations can be applied simultaneously without changing the main bath—useful, for instance, for removing dental cements with STAMMOPUR Z while disinfecting instruments with STAMMOPUR DR 8. For effective ultrasound transfer, surface tension of the coupling liquid must be reduced; a cleaning solution such as TICKOPUR R 33 (3 %) is therefore recommended as contact fluid. Supplied as one package, the beaker is a practical accessory for ultrasonic laboratory and dental workflows.
