Questions about sunlab® Vortexmaster (SU1901), mit LED-Display, 200-3000 UpM
What is this article?
sunlab® Vortexmaster (SU1901), mit LED-Display, 200-3000 UpM is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Vortex mixers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A vortex mixer oscillates a cup so a tube pressed into it spins its contents into a vortex. It mixes a tube in seconds. It does not mix a flask, and it is not a substitute for a shaker when the method says thirty minutes.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
