Description

testoterm Mini indicators +116.. +138 °C are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive films designed to signal temperature exceedances through a permanent colour change. They are ideal for monitoring products and processes in which a defined upper temperature limit must not be crossed, for example on moving or small objects or during long-term checks. Delivered in a booklet of 10 pieces, the mini indicators detach like stickers and bond readily to the measurement surface. Each strip shows the temperature points +116 °C, +121 °C, +127 °C, +132 °C and +138 °C. When any of these points is exceeded, the relevant spots change colour within 2 to 3 seconds. The reaction is irreversible, so the indicator retains the colour change even after the temperature drops again and critical events can still be read later. These compact temperature mini indicators from manufacturer Testo provide a practical passive solution for laboratory and industrial temperature surveillance where space is limited and lasting evidence of exceedance is needed.

What is this article?

testoterm Mini indicators, +116 … +138, °C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
