Description

testoterm temperature measuring strips for +37 °C to +65 °C are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive films that indicate exceeded thresholds by a distinct colour change. They are suited to monitoring products and processes in which a defined temperature must not be surpassed, including moving or small objects such as circuit boards, long-term storage and transport checks, laboratory work, automotive engineering, and aerospace applications. Each booklet contains 10 strips that detach like stickers and bond directly to the measurement object. The scale runs from +37 °C to +65 °C in white boxes with readable steps at 37 °C, 40 °C, 43 °C, 46 °C, 49 °C, 54 °C, 60 °C and 65 °C. When a point is exceeded, the relevant box changes colour within 2 to 3 seconds. The change is irreversible, so the strip does not reverse if the temperature later falls and critical excursions remain visible after storage or transport. These testoterm strips from manufacturer Testo support clear thermal documentation. Net weight is 0,010 kg.

This article is part of Digital thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

What is this article?

testotermTemperature strips , +37 °C …, +65 °C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
